Big Trip Stow-A-Way

The Big Guy recently took a trip out west.

Big Bend country was the destination

I managed to stow-a-way and tagged along

for all the great adventures

As soon as we were west of San Antonio

the Big Guy turned into ................

El Viejo

Audrey's husband Mike was able

to make the trip this year.

I think Mike enjoyed meeting John Wells

the proprietor of The Field Lab

Ribeyes and peach cobbler were on the menu

for supper at the Field Lab

A good time was had by all


Sure was cold out there in the desert though.....

Got down to 25 that night

Almost got discovered once...........

Of course it was when they

were cooking breakfast.

....Had to do my kangaroo rat impersonation

in order to avoid detection.

All in all it was a great trip!

Can't wait till next year!
